“Candy, You explain this so well.
You’re better than my teachers in code school.” -Robert J
A few years ago I was reading an article about this hot new trend of coding bootcamps.
Maybe you’ve heard of them? They’re designed to help you learn web development in two to six months — ideally giving you some skills for you to snag a role as a junior developer.
But, they’re very expensive.
Like, $8,000-$25,000 (or more) expensive. Worse, they don’t always teach best practices or even real-world skills. Additionally, a lot of employers frown upon them. . .And what happens if you end up not liking web development? You’re out thousands of dollars and not feeling good about yourself.
Personally, I wanted to learn web development so badly, but the bootcamp option just wasn’t going to cut it!
I decided to take matters into my own hands rather than risk it. Fast forward a few years, thousands of hours of study time, millions of cups of coffee, and countless projects later: Today, I’m a successful, passionate, and happy self-taught developer who loves to share my knowledge.
Learning web development can be difficult, and the Internet has this weird tendency of making it even more difficult with its mass of resources.
That’s where my One-on-One Coding (OoO) online classes come in.
With OoO, you will learn the hottest and most valuable tech skills out there in a fun yet professional, engaging way, at a fraction of the cost of a coding bootcamp. You’ll learn one-on-one with me!
-Save hundreds of hours trying to find reliable learning resources.
-Solve problems in real-time.
-Build real-life, unique, and functional projects for your tech portfolio that you are proud of (no TODO lists!).
Contact me (I’m always online….like…always) soon and let’s get this coding adventure rolling!
Technologies I help students excel in with OoO:
-Fullstack development with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node)
–WordPress & other CMS platforms
-A la carte technologies: HTML, CSS, RESTful APIs, jQuery, setting up IDEs and virtual environments
If you don’t know what exactly what you want to learn yet, that’s OK. At our first meeting, we’ll get to know each other better and figure out where your interests are. (ᵔᴥᵔ)
I usually use Google Hangouts with my students, but Skype or Facetime work, too!
Some feedback I’ve received recently:
“Awesome… Been trying to get this fixed for a while now.. Great job RTC…” -Ibidapo T.
“It was tough! Now I found this!!!!!! Yes!!!!” -Robin P.
“good job” – Taolucks S.
“The lady who started it all providing us w motivation, pizzazz & perspective.” -TheBlackUSAGI
